Frequently asked questions

Where is DEXZION jewellery made?

DEXZION jewellery is handmade in Cambodia by Cambodian silversmiths using traditional techniques refined through generations of craftsmanship.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we offer international shipping. All orders are dispatched using DHL Express directly from Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Is DEXZION jewellery handmade?

Yes. Our jewellery is crafted by skilled silversmiths using traditional techniques. Individual links are shaped, joined and finished by hand, without the use of electric or heavy machinery. As each piece is individually worked, slight variations may occur from one piece to another.

What is the difference between 999 and 925 silver?

999 silver contains 99.9% silver, while 925 silver contains 92.5% silver. 999 silver is softer and more malleable, while 925 silver is harder. Both are suitable for everyday wear.

Why choose 999 silver instead of 925 silver?

999 silver has a higher silver content and is easier to work with using traditional techniques to create our heavy 100g and 200g pieces. We choose 999 silver because purity and weight are central to our designs, creating jewellery that can be worn and enjoyed while retaining its silver value.

Does DEXZION use solid silver?

Yes. Our jewellery is made from solid silver rather than hollow or plated construction.

Will 999 silver tarnish or change colour?

Yes. All silver, including 999 silver, can naturally develop a darker surface over time as it reacts with the environment. This is normal and can be removed with a silver polishing cloth.

Why does DEXZION use 'M' & 'S' clasps?

'M' & 'S' clasps are a distinctive Asian-style clasp commonly used with high-purity jewellery. Their strong, simple construction makes them well suited to chunkier chains and bracelets, including our heavy 100g and 200g 999 silver pieces.

Can I request a custom length?

Custom lengths are possible depending on the design. Email us with your preferred length and we’ll assess whether it can be made. Custom orders are non-refundable.

Is each piece slightly different?

Our jewellery is made by artisans using traditional techniques, so small variations in finish, shape or texture can occur. These natural differences are part of the handmade process and make each piece unique.

Is DEXZION jewellery made to be worn or kept as silver?

Our jewellery is made to be worn. We believe precious metal should be something you can enjoy every day, rather than simply store away.

What is XRF testing?

XRF (X-ray fluorescence) testing is a non-destructive method used to analyse the metal composition of a piece and determine its silver purity.
All our pieces are tested using XRF analysis to verify their metal composition and silver purity.

What does an XRF test show?

An XRF test shows the elemental composition of the metal, including the percentage of silver present. This allows the purity of the piece to be assessed without damaging it.

How is 999 silver purity verified?

We use XRF testing to analyse the metal composition of our jewellery. The chain links in our 999 Collection are made from 999 fine silver. As XRF measures the exact point being scanned, readings may differ slightly at the small silver solder joints used during the handmade construction of our chains.

How should I care for my jewellery?

Store your jewellery in a clean, dry place when not wearing it. Avoid prolonged contact with chemicals, perfumes, lotions and household cleaning products.

What's the best way to clean silver jewellery

Use a silver polishing cloth to remove tarnish. For a deeper clean, wash with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.

Is DEXZION jewellery suitable for everyday wear?

Yes. Our jewellery is designed to be worn and enjoyed every day. However, we recommend removing it during activities such as sports, swimming and cleaning to help avoid damage from impact, chemicals or excessive sweat.

Can I shower or swim while wearing my jewellery?

We recommend removing your silver jewellery before swimming, bathing or showering. Chlorine, salt water and soaps can accelerate tarnishing, but it can be easily cleaned.

How should I store my jewellery when I'm not wearing it?

Keep it somewhere cool and dry, ideally in a jewellery pouch or another soft, protective container. Keeping pieces separated can also help prevent scratches.

How are orders shipped?

Each order is securely packaged and dispatched using DHL Express. Orders are insured and fully trackable, with delivery usually taking 3–7 business days after dispatch.

How long does it take to process my order?

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days before being dispatched using DHL.

What is the return policy?

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To start a return or if you have any questions, please contact us at dexzion@proton.me.

Here's our return policy for more information.

Will I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?
